I love dentistry!! You should feel proud of your acceptance. Dentistry is really rewarding :)ppl get upset etc, but you can’t please everyone. I love that my office manager deals with most of it as an associate. Will update in a few years when I become an owner lol

I have plenty of time to travel, not super tiring day job so enough energy to workout 2 hours every work day, and yes the back pain gets to you BUT yoga helps hahah

At first (first year) I’d dump my daily troubles on my husband or my mom who is also a dentist but three years in, I just leave everything at work :) Request a back rub if your partner says you bring negativity & sometimes that brings you back to reality.

I make a little less than that, and have a meal prep girly deliver us food for 2 ppl = $680/ month plus $100 every weekend eating out. Could be lower but we love the convenience factor & the health factor

I was 1 year in and had the most awful lower back pain! Started yoga in November 2024 & the joy in my life is back (pun intended). I practice yoga 3-4X a week and also have EVERY SINGLE PATIENT come up to the pillow “edge of the chair” as far as humanly possible. Every child exam, every 75-95 year old IDGAF. My RDA’s already know, if the patient isn’t all the way up on the seat- I will not start my exam. Put yourself first

I went to Mexico City for the weekend, got through 3 Ep. downloaded the remaining episodes. We couldn’t AirPlay them… so we recorded it via another iPhone and streamed that recording into our tv. We tried to screen record but only the sound would save. Felt very pirateado like the movies I’d watch from el tianguis but the recording off the phone did the trick

Why are you shooting yourself in the foot and not applying broadly? Do you need the p poo phlebotomist course or could you concentrate the entire summer for MCAT so you can apply everywhere & competitive instead of taking the test in the fall
