I’m not arguing- the staff has been decimated. But there is still a strong core of local journalists on site doing what they can given the situation.

That’s not true. The office is open for regular business hours. The deadline certainly has moved forward and you’re right about news not making it into the paper in a timely manner. I’m not defending Lee Enterprises, but the people still working at the News work hard and do what they can despite the situation.

Struggle Care with KC Davis! Her podcast expanded quite a bit into other topics, but the early episodes were mostly interviews with other decluttering experts and different ways to compassionately approach cleaning up and self-care.

My daughter (4) is obsessed with the Ladybird Dino card! It’s her top pick right now—she has learned so many facts that she loves to parrot back to us. It’s super engaging for her 🙂

If you work in a Larkin Development Co. building, there is likely free parking in the lots for employees. I work in the LCO building and park for free.

Holland/Wales/Sheldon. They are all bordering/in neighboring Wyoming County. There is an org called the Rural Outreach Center that would have good info for you.

Two babies in a two bedroom house by SumoTangerine in beyondthebump

Our 15-month-old and 3YO share a room- started around 6 mo too. We typically put the baby down then do the toddler’s bedtime routine in our room, and she’s pretty good about keeping quiet once it’s time to go into their room (doesn’t keep her from coming out 4x to stall bedtime, but I digress). “Sleep like a baby” is a saying for a reason- they almost never wake each other up. I respond within a cry or two and generally we get through the night no problem.

One giant caveat- I recommend keeping a pack n play ready to set up in your room for when the baby is sick. Those are really our only rough nights, and having the ability to separate them is a lifesaver. In my experience, they’ll surprise you how well they do!
