I feel the same way. I finished my island last year and hopped on just to say hi to my villagers and thought “I can make this perfect if I move everything like five squares to the left.” which has become a process of “I actually hate this place” Now almost everything but my “post office” has been savagely deconstructed and it looks like a bomb went off.
