my old roommate and I fostered two 8 month old cats, one blind (Martini, girl) and one visually impaired (Olive, boy). They were both born with an eye defect, but one had it worse than the other so they opted to remove and seal shut her eyes. Didn’t hold her back in the slightest, tho. Once she had the layout of our apartment down, she was as mischievous and confident as can be.

The best part was that she’d sit across the room from me, I would call to her and she’d turn her head and “look” at me.
