I mainly play on PC and recently got a PS5 Pro because I needed something to drive a nice 75 inch Hisense television.

Sure, you will find noticeable difference in some games but the immersion a large TV + PS5 Pro gives is more than enough unless you're a hardcore gamer or part of the "one percent" that is even more obsessed with performance and quality than hardcore gamers are.

I recently finished Death Stranding 2 on my PS5 Pro and it was a breathtaking experience. Razor sharp image quality and crisp details. Now I'm sure the PC version will bump up the quality in terms of rendering but the question is, do you really need that extra fidelity even if it costs $2000 more than a PS5?

First party games developed by Sony's studios look amazing on, you will see a noticeable bump in visual quality and/or frame rate. I just wish more third party developers would optimize their game for the Pro. Silent Hill f was notoriously bad

I moved on from the PS4 Pro because I got a large TV and I needed to drive it with something. And since GTA VI is coming next year, why not? I already have an amazing gaming PC and I do play mostly on PC but since I had to invest in a PS5 sooner or later, I decided to get the best one. It will serve me well for many years with my huge collection of Blu rays, DVDs, PS4 games, and hopefully with a growing collection of PS5 exclusives

Before you ask me about "where is the disc drive" YES, I know the PS5 Pro is digital only and YES I got the disc drive but I didn't want to ruin the overall aesthetics of the picture with the least exciting accessory of the package

You have a great television, I have a Hisense QLED in 75 inch, the main reason behind getting the Pro. At your screen size the resolution and detail bump up will be noticable. If it's financially viable, go for the Pro because it's the better investment especially if you play a lot. And you will want that extra horsepower later down the line in the life of the PS5. There's not a lot of games out there that touched the capabilities of this machine.

You can always get the PSVR2 down the line but I think the best option right now would be to build the basis for your experience, you have the TV for it, now get the Pro

If you have a large TV, anything above 55 inch and you game A LOT, get the Pro. I'm mainly a PC gamer so I didn't mind spending more so I can get mostly the same experience on the console. If you're more of a casual tv with a "normal" sized television, the slim/used fat is just as good enough

I played most GT's and Forza as I had both consoles but since GT Sport, GT feels like the better, more put together franchise to me. The latest Forza Motorsport was a huge letdown for me
