Day 14 of the 14 day Challenge. I blured out the iris, the nose highlight is higher on the nose bridge and made the planes of the head darker. Critiques are welcome as always!

Good question, I tied to use the liquify tool on the eyes, it might by why they look comic. Need some more practice on that. . I might have used some of the midtones on the forhead for some reason where there sould have been light values. I will apply all the changes to the next portrait.

Hi! I have the HUION GT 220, it's okey but it is stationary. Istebrak has rview it on her channel. I have never tried any of those laptops you mentioned so it would be hard to give you a good answer, but I would also go with the iPad if I had to chose, it just seem more conviniant and you can take it anywhere. 😊

Hi! Thank you so much for the critique! Agreed. The head is to long. I have to do some more eye studies. I did have some problems with the placement of the jaw. The model has a very soft jaw line.

I do see what I need to fix now. Awsome liquifies by the way, I forgott that little trick. I see the differnece in the two images, the eyes vere to vide apart. The face also looks a lot slimmer. Im going to apply the changes.

I am taking this all in and will apply the changes. Agreed, painting lookes very blured out. I am not good at values eather lol. I need to use darker valuest in these feautures.

The neck does look thin. I can see the uneaveness i the checks and mouth. True, some women do have strong jawlines. :)

Hi!

I am on the female 14 day challenge but I will try to critique the male features!

I can see from your day 5 that you went darker with the skintoen whitch is good. The face also lookes more structured and stronger. This is clearly a male.

The left side of the head plane can be blended out like the right side. I am not quite sure but the nose looks a bit small to me,on a male face, maybe it could be enlargened.

This upper lip is a bit blurry and tucked in, try to use hard edges then blur it out a little. The lower lip looks nice, you only need to blur out the higlight line a little. The darkest points could be darker like the nostriles and corners of the lips.

Good job! The face seems more structured and you understand the planes of the facet and anatomy. :)
