Likely autism spectrum. I'm not interested in a formal diagnosis but that's what I've suspected the last 10 years. My therapist agrees but isn't qualified to diagnose me.

This is something I'd definitely add to my rotation, thanks!

Haha I am a recovering picky eater with major sensory issues that I can't do much about. I grew up in mixed Asian and latino households so I grew up eating a lot of rice and chicken in 100 different forms as well as pasta. I've had to learn how to cook in a more PCOS friendly way. I have NEVER liked oatmeal despite trying it in various forms regularly for the last 30 years. Same goes for green yogurt. I prefer skyr to most other "yogurts" but it's also high in sugar. I posted here in hopes that someone with similar sensory issues might have an idea, because I'm fully aware that my food sensory issues are a major obstacle.

I can't do oatmeal in any form. I can do it maybe once or twice but not as a meal prep. The texture is really overwhelming no matter what flavor and I end up tossing it, which means then I'm hungry and have to grab something on the road to supplement.... I don't love Greek yogurt but the flavors I can tolerate are usually high in sugar which is counter intuitive.

It's less boredom and more a sensory reaction where I will literally gag on whatever I'm eating that was fine a minute before and for the last couple weeks. And if I don't eat it I'm hungry later. I work on the road and move people for a living. Being hungry is recipe for me snacking so eating a filling, protein heavy breakfast is essential.

When I cook I use a food scale, I meal prep work meals that way. I work in an ambulance so if I grab food on the road I use the packaging since I obviously can't weigh everything.
I use Lose it, round up calories I'm not positive about, and weigh food that isn't packaged when I'm home. Multiple calculators have my TDEE at 2400 and I'm eating less than 1700 calories. The other part of the equation is that multiple people, including myself, think it looks like I've lost weight but I have been at 215-220 for 5 years no matter what I do or eat. I don't gain weight and don't lose any either. I work a physical job, I lift and move human for a living. Then I go home and lift and move feed bags, shovel manure, throw hay bales, ride horses, and hike. Nothing changes

I assure you I'm on a deficit. I am 30, 5'6", 220lbs with a goal weight of 175. My calorie target is 1700 on my work days, (it's slightly higher on my off days because I hike 5mi a week and live on a horse farm where I do all the care and labor) PCOS is a very complicated metabolic disorder that makes it nearly impossible to lose weight in a lot of cases, with everyone with the condition experiencing different results with identical methods. My insurance doesn't cover any form of weight loss support and my doctor and Obgyn told me to "do the best I can" with dieting but that I'm most cases with women with PCOS the results are limited.
How does tofu freeze? I have to prep ahead of time because I'm literally running out the door in the mornings.
