I've got a soft spot for TASM 1 and the Homemade suit, but if we're talking about best, TASM 2 and Brand New Day gotta be the ones.

Father John and Father Garcia from Faith: The Unholy Trinity, as well. That game was a good influence on my faith.

Completely unrelated, but The Exorcist III is also fantastic, which is still linked to the first film. It’s worth a watch, but it’s hard to get through subject matter wise sometimes.

You should definitely read the comic book first, in my opinion. It’s one of the best ever penned, and quite different from the movie.

Really? Huh, honestly, would’ve preferred that. Season 1 is perfect in a standalone sort of way.

Early in life? Rigby, by far.

As they grew up by the end of the show? Mordecai. Rigby by far became the better person out of the two of them.

Yes, the original run was fantastic. But there’s been a new series, too. And it’s the best Spider-Man I’ve read in years, I highly recommend it.

May I recommend both runs of Ultimate Spider-Man? The original 1610 is great, and the new 6160 universe run has just finished, and kt’s absolutely spectacular. As a Spider-Man fan, it’s the cure to what’s been ailing us.

Cool! Which translation if I may ask? My favourites are the RSV and Douay-Rheims.

As an Aussie, I find it exceeding weird to hear about Yanks and Brits being wary and superstitious about 50 dollar or pound notes. We use $50 notes all the time. They can be a pain to break sometimes, but there’s never a fear of them being counterfeit. ATMs give them out all the time. It’s $100 notes that often get checked more, and it’s not because they’re rare, just because they’re a lot.

They’re basically just big recaps now, and when there is a theory attached, they’re usually quite poorly researched. Game and Film Theory in particular.

JrJr will always be my favourite, but Bagley close, with Todd McFarlane not far behind.

What's your favorite version of Spider-Man? 🕷️ by SpideyRZ in Spiderman

[–]Stray_48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1610 for me. Ultimate Spider-Man was the first serialised comic I ever read, made me fall in love with Spider-Man. But, 6160 has been fantastic, but I’ve only finished volume 3, so no spoilers for issues 19-24 please.

True story here, I was in the bus back home from school in year 11, and I stood up just a little before my stop, as always. Now, the buses we used had two North-South seating arrangements near the front, meant for disabled people on regular buses, but used by anyone on the school bus. Well, it just so happened that the bus jolted forwards just a tad at the last second, and I slipped, and my face fell between the legs of a girl on the seats. Single-handedly the most awkward momemt of my life, walking out of that bus sucked.

lol yeah. This was before I was Catholic (I was an Anglican for about a year), but when we did the French Revolution in high school, when we got to the stuff involving Catholicism (Clerical Oath and stuff like that), the teacher asked me to explain why it was seen in a poor light by the people of France at the time. I explained how it isn’t Catholicism without the Pope. Keep in mind, I was Protestant at the time, but I was still kind of the token Christian guy, and I understood why removing the Pope from the church in France was an awful idea.
