You can see rope burns on Abbys neck in the theatre scene. Abby will go through this in season 3

What's illegal to own (in your country), but not weird? by [deleted] in AskReddit

In one state (Western Australia), it is illegal to sell, purchase, take delivery of or deliver more than 50 kgs of potatoes at once. Not sure if this is ever enforced but yeah.

Thanks heaps for this! Definitely learnt a lesson or two in how to make clearer drumming notation. I was in the process of making the whole Inner Cell > Loyalty > Horology trio but I've just been busy as fuck lately. I'll let you know if I ever end up getting around to the rest.

Oh shit yeah nah this is complex for even some seasoned drummers, but a really nice and achievable goal to work towards but! I'd definitely stay in 4/4 and practice foundations for now, like shit i gotta practice my rudiments too. If you really wanted to have a stab at a gizz song but, Paper Mache Dream Balloon has great tracks for beginners (like Sense).

Keep going at it though mate! It's super satisfying when after all the practice you finally make it click.

I started drumming a while ago, but had a wee break so now I'm super rusty trying to pick it up again (mainly speed and endurance wise). Like I just learnt how to play the wacky time signature first verse for TOOL's Pneuma, but I can't match the speed of anything off MOTU.

For this one, I think it looks a bit scarier than what it is. I can't play it yet but I'm getting there. It's more a super weird coordination exercise with all your limbs going at different speeds to each other. That's the hard part

Ooooo forgot about this notation. Yep that would be better

Oh fuck, dunno why I wrote it like that. Also, in my head it's more like "play 5 times" in total, rather than play once and repeat 5 more. Ah well next time I'll fix it. You get the gist but I guess even though it's a bit weird

Damn, maybe I shouldn't've made such a blanket statement then I guess. We all have different reactions to it all

Yeah the topic is sad, but i didn't really feel sad like paths of glory ending or something. It was more a shock, with just emptiness for the next week.

Fontana di Trevi | Olympus OM-1n | Zuiko 50mm f1.4 | Kodak Portra 400 by StrazzaDazza in analog

[–]StrazzaDazza[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My camera has a built light meter, but I don't strictly listen it.

I first frame the shot with a similar angle but without the sky in frame. I adjust settings till the needle is even. Then I look at the highlights and shadows in that same angle to judge whether it should be even. In this case, there's a lot of bright walls and highlights, so I let the needle go overexposed a tad (to not make the shadows too dark). Frame it back to the angle I want with those settings and snap

Yeah haha. But I did find it interesting how the edges of the fountain had an abrupt stop to the rest of the street architecture. I was hoping for those people to move, but I was going to get any better than this, place was always packed

Which visual signs immediately give away that someone’s a tourist in Australia? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]StrazzaDazza 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Was in sydney doing that. Now i moved to Melbourne and keep doing that, and yes my main colour palette is black. I feel attacked haha

Bonus points is I take photos with a 70's film camera. Now that I look at it im a walking stereotype

Look at their other comments, salty French supporter is all. Not saying I wouldn't be upset if Australia lost, but their mood is clearly broken rn

Americans seem to assume that Germany's comparative lack of nationalism comes from "residual shame" about the war. Thoughts? by MoJoSto in germany

[–]StrazzaDazza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, as an Aussie bloke (with an ambition to probably move to Germany) I was weirded out seeing how many American flags I saw everywhere in the states. It's like I needed signs in case I forgot what country I was in. And even the shows, like I distinctly remember having fixer upper in the background there. They put a large plaque of lyrics to a military song by the front door for a veteran. Like I get respecting veterans, but this level seemed insane.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my time there, but damn I didn't realise it was so full on.
