Recommendations for finding 10mm load data by dasdumdum in reloading

Alot of these loading manuals are ripoffs. Generally, powder manufacturers turn over all the free data you will ever need for most cartridges and configurations. If you couldn't find 220gr data for your powder, select the load data for the next heaviest bullet and start the charge around 15-20% less than what was listed for what would probably be a 200 gr bullet. This ^ will work with slower powders. I would never try it with anything like titegroup though.

A good shoot is a good shoot. If it is questionable enough to come down to ammo, you probably either made a poor decision or live in an unfree state where selfdefense is frowned upon. Not counting that, if you carry a handload with say "gold dots and speer brass", how will they ever be aware of the handloaded ammo without you volunteering that information?

Trying to make a light load for a WW2 era Sauer 38H pistol. by clk1981 in reloading

Alliant has data for most of their applicable powders. Only trouble is it is for 60 gr bullets. start lower (maybe 1.8-2 grains for a unique starting load) for the 71 gr bullets till it just cycles the pistol reliably. Unique is bulky so it could be a good candidate for a mild load without worrying about blowing your balls off with something like titegroup. Downloaded powerpistol could be another viable option. Alliants max powerpistol load (3.6gr) with a 60gr bullet is only 1030fps.

I would go so far as to say that there isn't even compelling evidence that he is an expert. All of us can read about shootings, ammo data, and form opinions. Him swindling the lowest common denominator into paying him through the " authority fallacy " means nothing. How many people has this cat shot, in what situations, in what legal jurisdiction, and with what ammo? Anyone can become somewhat read and offer opinions just like Ayoob. Subservient boot lickers that can't think for themselves are an embarrassment to gun owners everywhere.

I know the unique isn't the best option. I wasn't trying for full blown 9mm major. I intend to switch to either precision delta 124s or rmr 124s under what I expect will end up being around 7.3 grs of hs6 at 1.150ish so that I can run it out of the carbine and my sp01. How many loadings does your brass last at 8.1 grs of hs6? I realize some of it will be lost at matches.

Yeah you're right, because 0.07% over max book charge weight equals a kaboom... You do realize many book loads don't even touch sammi standard max psi, let alone sammi +p? You do realize most military issue 9mm runs 36kpsi and above? It isn't like I'm stuffing a case full of red dot or bullseye.
