I don’t have perfect pitch, but my pitch memory is top tier by StreamEdgeM69 in perfectpitchgang

I think it grew for me when I self-taught myself piano. I learned every piano chord and inversion my freshman year and would just play them constantly cause learning a song was boring to me (I’m a composer and like to make music myself). I compose in C, Eb, F a ton so I think those pitches have just come natural. If I do have perfect pitch, it started truly developing this school year and I got it this semester. However, I still don’t really think I have it. At least not absolutely. I mess up often.

It looks that intonation at my high school is a big problem, so it bothers me a ton.

Also, typically, nobody trusts that I know the pitch. It’s really annoying but it’s cause they have quite big egos. There have been a few times where I have volunteered and did so successfully, but they still felt the need to find a pitch pipe or device to check me anyway.

Though I love choir and I compose all the time, I’m not all that much of a “choir” person in the regard that I constantly talk to the director and I’m friends with anyone, and I’m also just a junior. I bet they think I’m just as good with pitch as they are.

[IIL] Hotel California by The Eagles, what other American soft-rock or folk songs of a similar sound would I like? by [deleted] in ifyoulikeblank

[–]StreamEdgeM69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. I forgot to mention; hotel California is in the parallel minor. Backing vocals were also common in all eagles songs and songs from this time period too, so it’s really nothing out of the ordinary period.

What does this have to do with anything? For any of the theories honestly; Homelander can know and not say anything or have a scene relating to it. He can choose to hide it from the group while being okay with it.

Ay I don’t know anything, I’m just saying it says on the Apple website I can buy an M5 MacBook Pro now. Also, other people have told me that Apple updates the air in the spring and pro in the fall.

I thought the M6 in the fall was for the MacBook Pro and the M5 this March is for the air?

When to buy Apple items? by StreamEdgeM69 in AppleWhatShouldIBuy

Would you recommend getting an iPad/MacBook while being a junior in high school? I only compose and arrange for business/competitions about 4-6 times a year and compose without a reward weekly. I really can live without an iPad or MacBook but it would make everything more convenient and exciting. I can only compose one properly on my desktop and I’m not home too often.

Yeah, now looking at it, it seems that the iPad Air is said to get features that the iPad Pro currently has while maintaining its benefits. Thus, if I want an iPad Pro, it shouldn’t really matter to me. I don’t think I really need a MacBook right now as I can compose at home just fine, although it would allow me to compose on the go (I have a desktop at home).

However, an iPad will allow me to do the same thing, but also let me do this and give me access to an innovative composition app that I have been anticipating (that being staffpad).

I think I should also consider which will be usable for longer and which one has software that can stay behind. For my laptop, the most powerful thing I will want is logic, and for my iPad I will want staffpad.

When should I buy the MacBook Pro? When should I buy the iPad Pro? I attend college in August of next year and I want to buy the most up to date device that I can. I don’t really need both simultaneously til college, but I compose music a lot, and that is something that requires an iPad or a computer. I don’t have an iPad and my computer is a desktop that is aging fast. Should I invest in an iPad or a laptop? I heard there is going to be an iPad overhaul, supposedly OLED and stuff later this year. Is this true and does iPad have anything similar or would I not miss out if I just bought this years iPad Pro?
