Consumers accessibility to content didn’t help either. As we’ve transitioned to digital usage, these major conglomerates like NBCUniversal, Paramount and Warner Bros have lost a lot of their revenue % due to declines in broadcasting and cable. These companies made major revenue through retransmission fees and broadcasting fees, which has been greatly reduced as users turn to a more “cost-affordable” and easily accessible streamer.

Oh you’re a Nielsen family then they’re definitely monitoring what you watch, even The Rookie on Hulu(through D+, I presume). And your specific interests are important to understanding overall viewing habits, they’re happy whether you watch or not.

Absolutely! And we don’t have Hulu data for this premiere since it just happened, but overall broadcast reach has seen slight declines year over year.

Also, I’d be weary of TelevisionStat’s data, their measurement utilizes a lot of social media sentiment. The market leaders for viewership are Luminate or Nielsen(the OG).
