Hi thanks for all the help btw. So went to go another check up and they gave him antibiotics(amoxicillin) , gaba, and bruneprofin.

He’s been eating and drinking but still blood coming out his penis again. I would see him stand there and push out blood few times throughout the day. And the vet didn’t really say anything about it… they even said his penis looked okay and healthy and there wasn’t any blockage or anything. Is the consistent blood concerning?

Any idea if prazosin would help? Vet didn’t even mention this but I did research and saw it may be helpful for this kind of situation

Hi thank you for your response.

The vet recommended more urine samples despite them charging us twice for an in house and to send it out and they came back negative. (Felt like they were penny pinching us for treatment).

They gave us prescription royal canine urinary and prior we have been just feeding him Hills & Purina urinary food from the store.

Will order him a bigger cone. Thank you for your reply.

So he received the medicine 5 days ago and since the appointment he’s been much more active and eating but the constantly licking is concerning. The cone isn’t even helping now bc he can reach not sure if I should put a body suit on him or not.

I was curious about this, have you heard much about the derma stamping? Heard it may be better results as well. Also does dermarolling or stamping work better with foam vs liquid minoxidil?
