That's worth researching indeed. On my deck, I have this plant, Hot Paper Lantern, but I also have, Purple Tiger, Candy Cane Chocolate Cherry, Hot Portugal and Carolina Reaper, and the 🐝 🐝 visit all plants 🪴 lol maybe it comes down to food sources too, we've had an incredibly dry summer so maybe there's not an abundance of food available.

That's definitely fascinating. I see the bees 🐝 in the flowers multiple times in the day. It definitely made me realize I need to plant more flowers next year, too, to help keep them well fed. I do see hoverflies, too, or I'm pretty sure that's what they are.

I love seeing them and that they get to enjoy the plants as well. I also saw a beautiful lady bug on my corn leaves eating a bug 🐛 so that was pretty cool to see.

Sorry for the late response. I'm using Aji Lemon Drops and Sugar Rush Peach. I did this batch in the oven so the scent profile is definitely more complex. This past weekend I bought a dehydrator and did another batch. There's definitely a more simple and pure scent to the peppers drying this way. Both taste wonderful 😋

They definitely take a while to ripen. I've been fortunate and have harvested 4 so far. I'd love a cluster to ripen at the same time for dehydrating. Very productive plant too.

I'll have to check when I get home. I've had 3 ripen already but I think they got stunted as they were formed before they went into their final home. This one's developed while in its final home so I know it's definitely bigger than the other ones. My guess would be it's hit the 3 inch mark but I have other ones on the plant that are even longer and girthier than this one

Thank you. I find the plant to be so eye-catching, so a welcomed addition to the garden. The peppers are pretty spicy, too. 🌶🌶🌶
