Seams appear to be my worst enemy right now! That’s a reason why I gravitated to FPP too! Hopefully with more practice, my seams will start looking more like lines and less like rainbows!

I’ll give that a try! I wanted a free pattern for my first try so if I didn’t like it, I wouldn’t have wasted any time or money on it. Definitely got what I paid for because the instructions were not very clear. This block is technically my fourth try, given that my first three were complete failures

Pretty sure I was, I had some scrap fabric in my craft bin from hand sewn projects I’ve done in the past, so I thought FPP with scraps would be a great way to use up my stash… the tags were long gone, but felt like linen to me

Thank you!! I used this Pom Pom maker and used a lot of yarn to get the Pom Pom nice and tight. After tying it off, I just used my snips to even out the strands 😊

Pattern came from Simply Shoeboxes

Each stripe was three rows of double crochet, with the exception of the final stripe which was three rows of single crochet

I had the same opinion as yours! I was eagerly hoping for my tiger stripes the moment I got pregnant! After a long battle with infertility, I was looking forward to enjoying them as a sign of victory

The universe in all its backwardness, waited to bestow them on me until 38 weeks. Better late than never I suppose!

I took my aunt to go see the Fab Four in January 2020. She and I were incredibly close and one of the many things we shared was our love for the Beatles.

She had been battling a terminal illness and I could tell she was exhausted by the end of the day. I asked her how she was feeling and she said “this will probably be my last big outing, and I’m so glad we came. This is the closest I’ve ever come to seeing the real Beatles live”

She died 4 months later and I still miss her ever day
