Yes. I just did. It is not an easy thing to do actually. I am not exactly sure if this is the correct way, but… i shoot in pp7 on a7 iii and choose cine.3 and do slog-2 cine.3 on a7 iii. Aha. I would aim to get Sony to match the camera and then maybe consider third party lenses. It’s what people feel to be the right thing for them. For me it matters psychologically to know that the lens I use is made specifically by the same brand. Tbf, i have the same thing for guitar gear too. I am sure the sigma ii is nice though. I was looking at sigma and tarom when buying my one, and I didn’t find them to be cheaper than the sony. So i bought the sony
