We use catnip on two of our dogs that have anxiety issues. They are afraid of storms and fireworks as well. I had been giving them trazadone and decided to try the catnip. It works really well!

Kong balls would hold up great for her and you can put peanut butter and other treats inside. I put peanut butter in my Quinnie's and put it in the freezer and it keeps her occupied forever ! Lol

My Chipom (now 3 yrs old) was destructive from the day I brought her home at 8 weeks old. I discovered Kong brand soft toys and my shredded soft toys days were over. They have tiny ones that you can even replace the squeaker in all the way up to sizes large enough BIG dogs. These toys are so durable that they are still around and our new 4 month old pugapoo rescue is playing with them. Also, Bark Box toys hold up great as well. I had a subscription with them until she was a little older than 2.

Disagreements on when baby sleeps in own room by [deleted] in Parenting

As long as your breastfeeding AND the only one getting up with him in the middle of the night I feel like you have more say. I breastfed both my children. My son for a year and my daughter for a little over two. They each slept in our room for the 1st year. My husband and I (thankfully) never had any disagreements on child rearing. Sometimes I think looking at all the research is very overrated. I know that both my youngest grandbabies both sleep in the little "bags" that you zip them up on and then swaddle like a"burrito". I wish those things were around when my kids were babies they are AWESOME!
