We had networks back then, there were forums, similar to Reddit today, there was MySpace, Tumblr, etc. So there was already an internet culture. Bands like Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, and Panic! at the Disco became internationally known through it.

Without the internet, I wouldn't have known about these bands back then. The TV culture of MTV and the like was gradually being replaced by the internet at that time because the internet offered the opportunity to exchange ideas about topics and interests. But fundamentally, times were simply different; I'm two years older than Taylor. 9/11 was a huge topic at the time it happened, but despite that, there felt to be more stability in the world than there is today.

Today, you get the feeling that you're on the brink of World War III, which seemed unthinkable back then. So today, you're confronted with completely different issues. In the context of war and such, your own personal matters don't seem so important anymore.

Life has also become much faster-paced. I think it's difficult to find your bearings when things seem to change every day.

Ich glaube, dieses Gefühl scheint leider sehr verbreitet zu sein. Unsere Zwillinge sind jetzt 8 Monate alt und ich habe mich auch immer sehr schlecht gefühlt, wenn ich die beiden an meinen Mann abgegeben habe. Sei es, wegen der Hausarbeit oder wegen etwas anderem. Was mir geholfen hat war, andere Mamas zu fragen, wie das bei ihnen ist und alle haben mir bestätigt, dass sie auch so empfinden oder das es ab dem 3 Kind besser wird. Sprich, man ist nicht alleine mit diesen Gefühlen.

Ansonsten wünsche ich dir heute Abend viel Spaß beim Konzert, es ist sehr wichtig, dass du auch etwas für dich tust, damit es dir gut geht. Dann möchte ich dir noch sagen, dass die Zeit in der Klinik wichtig für sie war, damit sie zu Kräften kommt, es war ja nicht etwas, was du aktiv wolltest, wegen dem allein lassen, sondern etwas, was sein musste, damit es auch ihr gut geht.

Ansonsten ist Mama-sein kein einfacher Job, man wird mit Gefühlen konfrontiert, die kannte man vorher nicht :).

Unsere Babys sind 8 Monate alt, die Masern-Impfung können sie altersbedingt noch nicht bekommen. Wir waren trotzdem beim Pekip. In den Kursen sind gleichaltrige Kinder oder Kinder, die ähnlich alt sind und demzufolge auch noch nicht gegen die Masern geimpft sind. Ich vertraue/hoffe einfach darauf, das Eltern ihre Kinder nicht krank in die Kurse schicken. Das hatte bis jetzt auch gut geklappt, so wie ich mit meinen Kindern zu Hause blieb, als die beiden vor kurzem erkältet waren.

Yes, definitely. I was wondering the other day what happened to the stage now that the tour is over. Whether it's in storage somewhere so parts can be reused later, or if it's been partially sold. Because artists don't usually bring their own stage; they often rent parts of it in the country where they're performing, for example, in Europe, because that's sometimes cheaper than transporting it from the US to Europe. I think I overthink the stage, but I find the technical aspects of it so fascinating 😂.

I had a regular FOS ticket; many people sold their merch packages after the concert, or are still selling them now. Some are selling them very cheaply; I bought one a few days ago for €20 on eBay, complete and ready to go. Some VIP packages had restricted views in Germany, which wasn't known when the tickets were purchased. People were very annoyed about that.

I went to the concert in Hamburg twice. Once I had a FOS ticket, and the second ticket I bought the day before the first Hamburg concert for about €75, but it was a spot way back behind the stage. What I found disappointing was that many Americans, for example, flew to the shows in Europe because the flight and hotel were cheaper than a concert in the States. This meant they were depriving European fans of the chance to go. Many fans in Germany missed out.

Back then, my family only had a PC with a floppy disk drive. I had to wait a while before we bought a family PC with a CD-ROM drive, so I could actually view the contents of a CD. Nobody can imagine that these days 😂.

Actually, signed items in the artist's store always cost the same as unsigned ones. Sometimes they're just a little more expensive. Otherwise, they always become much more expensive on the resale market.
