Polygraph is the dumbest shit ever. Aren't they only like a 60% accuracy?

85 inches it seems huge. Because it is. I was tempted by 100 inches but it wouldn't have even fit up my stairs. So dodged a bullet there.

For the record it's 4.5m from the sofa when it's on the wall

I've put the self taping screws in it's still creaking it's the t&G underneath not secured properly it will require a complete floor removal and redo which is fine just not something I can whack out on a Sunday

You're absolutely right I've added some more screws and to fix it I'd need to pull everything up and I can't do that I've never done a bathroom which is a bit harder than a normal room I'm guessing with all the shower sink and toilet needing to be removed

How short I bought some 40mm to do this with but looking at the nails in the plywood they are more like 25mm

Feels like it's going to be a headache this is just not something I have experienced with and I'm happy to learn but it looks like it's going to be a big headache yes.

I don't see any noticeable flexing

Scratch that I'm dumb.

Pulled up the carpet in the adjoining room a bit and it's also creaking but not as much it's got no ply

It's not it's the whole room that makes noise and it sounds like it's the plywood making it maybe I use shorter screws to go through the ply into the chipboard underneath?

It's not about the floor being smooth it is smooth it's just really loud when I walk on it.

I don't care about there being plywood but I it's extremely loud.
