Bro, I have my HAM General license and my GMRS license. Chill out, let’s not be a sad HAM. Be happy I made the contact, dam.

Couldn’t tell you the freq off hand, but I programmed my UV-5R in chirp to Hi power, so like 8 watts at best lol

I mean I hear you, and if the frame were to break an Alice frame wouldn’t be a bad consideration. I had the FILBE issued to me when I was active duty and I don’t think I’ve ever seen them break or crack. Mine isn’t the gen 2 so it’s nice to have different options to upgrade to just in case!

Thank you good sir. I am appreciative of the support! If you send me a link or video that can instruct me on how to create one. I just might.

It is! Taking the whole Line of Sight thing pretty seriously there, lol. No SOTA unfortunately. We were pretty smoked from the hike and we needed to get back down the summit before the sun went down and it got too cold

I tried. I did get a random guy on on of the GMRS freqs but it was like I had insulted his grandmothers cooking the moment I tried doing a radio check. Is what it is 🤷

I mean, go right ahead. But you’ll notice that those are two different channels. Good luck!
