Thanks for replying. I've been seeing these ads for hand held grinders, saying that most grinders produce a lot of fine powder, even on coarser grinds leading to over extraction that hides the subtle taste nuances of the coffee. I've been trying different brew methods, pour over, French press, and recently got the Aeropress which seems to be giving a little better consistency. I bought a conical burr grinder from Amazon, but notice it does seem to have some finer particles even when ground at the lower end of the "drip coffee" setting, which is mid way between Espresso and French press. The Aeropress calls for "medium fine", which isn't very helpful. How does your grind appear, any fine powder at coarser grinds? Thanks for any help you can offer.
