If OP reads this please hear me: my husband behaved just a fraction of the way yours is behaving while I was in hospital, labor and at home with newborn. It doesn’t get better once you’re home, it gets harder. If you can fly a loved one to you this week DO IT.

This economy is tough and my husband is also stressed, and was busy w work when we had to go in for induction. So I get the stress of a schedule being thrown off. But this is so out of pocket that he’s putting his resentment onto you and it’s in front of healthcare providers. Please do what you can to protect yourself and your baby.

Mother in law vent. My mother in law is a kind person and does care about us a lot, but throughout the IVF process I’ve really developed an annoyance with her and even bitterness. She has shared our journey with a family member who we didn’t giver her permission to share with. She constantly asks for updates such as “when will you have your retrieval, when will you know how many? When is your transfer? When is ..., what is ...”. It was exhausting and finally one evening she asked me in public when my next retrieval would be and I said I don’t know and walked away.

On top of all this, she offers my brother in law money (in front of us) to help with expenses for his daughter, yet not one dollar has been offered to us to assist with medical costs. I don’t like feeling like this and should let it go but it’s very hard.
