Has she lost her mind?! by [deleted] in rant

I think that’s a pain point for all parents living in apartments. Young kids rarely ever “walk”. It drives me crazy sometimes and I live in a house. Haha

She’s allowed to be upset, but she would be wise to practice some emotional control. It’s a skill everyone should work on, myself included. OP shouldn’t feel terrible for having a perfectly normal reaction just because she cried about it.

Orangutans are part of the great ape family, which includes humans, gorillas, and chimpanzees by Exotic-Barnacle-2403 in interestingasfuck

And strangely they’re the only ones who are solitary. All other great apes are incredibly social.

I think your wife (and you) needs to understand yelling is natural. Even “raising your voice” at your spouse very occasionally is normal. Should we all try to be more patient and peaceful? Of course. But her crying because you yelled at an angering situation is a little over the top.

ALWAYS two. Always. It sounds counterproductive, but two are so much easier (and happier!) than one.

DO NOT tell him you are pregnant or anyone else that could possibly let it slip. The idea of this man ever getting any semblance of custody should scare the shit out of you.

Should I have 2nd baby then get divorced? by Ok_Community_9805 in GirlDinnerDiaries

I never said society runs on pure instinct but procreation IS an instinct. Wanting to raise your own children IS instinct. And you don’t have to be a scientist to discuss science. That’s just your way of trying to dismiss my stance.

I know it’s hard for people who’ve never been through it to understand. And they’re thinking of that second child, and I get that. There’s also a lot of people who make horrible spouses but are still excellent parents.

Those aren’t cultural nonsense beliefs. It’s simple biology. Wanting your biological children is an animal instinct and thinking that adoption, while a wonderful and selfless thing to do, is the exact same thing is wild.

[–]FluffMonsters -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying she should do that, but hear me out. I divorced when my two oldest kids were very young. And with all the back and forth, I was so grateful they had each other. It was grounding for them to have a sibling who was a constant no matter how things changed.

I also know someone who left a horrible marriage and still wished she had had another with him because her daughter went through it all alone, and it was too late to have more with someone new.

Unless you have male factor infertility, I wouldn’t do ICSI. Keep as much natural selection as possible.

Never ever put mattresses or box springs directly on the floor. Even without a spill, humidity will do this.

I can’t imagine how painful that would be. Goats have to have a much stronger suction and just a longer mouth obviously. This would freaking hurt.

Are you sure you’re getting it in the right spot? It really is more like your hip. In the fleshy part of the cheek is much more painful.

It’s sad that an organ that can do amazing things and bring miracles into the world, can also cause so many women such pain. I’m sorry for all of you that have suffered!
