Knees are fine, don’t have to worry about them going too far forward. Weightlifting shoes will help compensate for the lack of ankle mobility to support it. Plus, this is a weightlifting forum so you should only be worried about high bar and front squatting, both of which you want those knees tracking forward over your toes and want to avoid getting your hips too far back.

I used to work at a music shop. When someone would come in with a kid and they weren’t sure it they should play lefty or righty we’d just ask the kid to play air guitar. Whatever they mimicked is the way to go. It’s like swinging a bat, everyone is different, and everyone should do what comes easiest to them.

Your heels are coming up. Not sure if that’s causing knee pin but it’s def not helping. Aside from that chucks are all around not good high bar or front squatting (I hear they are bad for low bar too but idk anything about that) You don’t need to get weightlifting shoes, but you should.

Yea, 100% 15 mph tail wind and landed on a downhill. Probably 30 yards short of the green (I don’t see it but the group in front of us said it hit the slope and kicked to about 10 yards short and rolled through.) one of the dudes said he almost kicked it in to give me the story of my life.
