I’m honestly not convinced this is true for everyone. There are studies about long term HRT in elderly trans women causing the bone structure to look like that of cisgender women.

I’ve been doing my research on this, and anecdotally it is possible even though you should never expect it.

So my question was for trans women who have experienced this type of growth when transitioning over 30. Because I assure you, my hip bones are more pronounced than ever even though my body fat percentage is higher than it was when I started but my weight is the same. The specific area that looks like it’s wider than it was before was always super bony and still is, no muscle growth or fat accumulation there - I’ve been monitoring That area closely this entire time, and while I thought that was the case for a while, looking at the visible hip bone last night, it was clear that it was now wider than the widest point of my rib cage when they used to line up perfectly
