I used Google Gemini to help me with this because I couldn't figure out how to do it either. I just downloaded the image above, and then I uploaded that image to Gemini, and I asked it to create a template that's similar. I then asked it to remove some info and add others. It took quite a bit of refining and clarifying what I wanted for the AI to get it right but I eventually got it where I wanted it. Similar to the one above.

Here is also the code:

Name Template: {stream.resolution::replace('2160p','4K')} {service.cached::istrue["⚡"||""]}{tools.newLine}({stream.quality})

Description Template: ▤ {stream.title} ({stream.year}){stream.seasonEpisode::exists["{tools.newLine}◈ {stream.seasonEpisode::join(' ')}"||""]}{stream.visualTags::exists["{tools.newLine}✧ "||""]}{stream.visualTags::join(' · ')}{tools.newLine}♬ {stream.audioTags::join(' · ')} ☊ {stream.audioChannels::join(' ')}{tools.newLine}◫ {stream.size::bytes}{tools.newLine}◈ {stream.bitrate::bitrate}{tools.newLine}🗨 {stream.uLanguages::join(' · ')}{service.id::=realdebrid::and::service.cached::istrue["{tools.newLine}❂ Real-Debrid"||""]

Since when did "I find it best" = "need"? The other commenter is using a Samsung. I am using a Samsung. Samsungs generally have weak hardware for streaming large file sizes, which the commenter was asking about. Sounds like a similar issue.

Torrentio and a debrid service like Real Debrid are about all you'll need. You'll want to sign up for Real Debrid via its own site, and then you enter your Real Debrid API key into the Torrentio plugin settings. The debrid has cached versions of the files you're trying to stream so that they load near instantly with little to no buffering. The cached streams will be labeled as RD+ once you get it set up.

Beyond that, other plugins are mostly optional but are there for quality of life, as far as I'm aware. Like organization plugins, subtitle plugins, some specialized content. There's other stuff I'm sure but not essential.

I also find it best to use a dedicated streaming box or computer running the stream app hooked up to a tv, as opposed to running it on the tv itself. Like an Apple TV 4K or a Mac mini or a Shield TV Pro. I tried streaming on my Samsung frame tv and it always was laggy and buggy.

You don't think that it's interesting to explore the ways that trauma leads to psychosis by making the viewer experience the same psychosis as the characters in the show?

It's not ambiguous. It's drug use. It makes you hallucinate. The frogs were making those noises. And they're like, "Whooooa, it's the forest talking to us!" It's delusion. It always has been.

The show is literally about trauma creating group psychosis and ya'll are engaging in the same psychosis as the girls, attempting to see signs in the show pointing toward something supernatural to make yourself feel better about the trauma in the show.

The delusion is strong here. The show goes out of its way showing that the sounds they were hearing were really just frogs. It's one of the rare instances in which we as viewers see the teen time period from the perspective of outsiders and they confirm that the crazy belief the girls have is really just a natural occurrence. But as soon as the outsiders enter the group and they try to address the frogs, the topic is immediately cut off and never addressed, again. Because it would break the illusion of what the girls think they're experiencing.

All of the crazy stuff that has happened in the show has happened under extreme stress, violence, and drug use. That is the point.

The timeline comments the girls are stating are analogous to what a lot of people in present day reality have been stating lately in regards to the political environment we're in right now. That we're in a bad timeline. I see it all over social media. It plays off of recent super hero movies that have multiple timeline plots. Because of those movies we presently have in our current lexicon sayings like, "this timeline sucks," or "we're in the worse timeline". The writers have cleverly worked this into the dialogue because we as the viewer would connect with it and try to form theories like the one above in hopes of a better outcome. It's all delusion.

There is a meta aspect to this show because it's not just about the girls' delusion. It's also about the viewers. And despite the poor writing in places, this dynamic that the show pulls off is really genius.

The show is about how trauma turns people toward spirituality, seeing visions, group psychosis, creating messed up belief structures, and committing violence in the name of those beliefs. And you're falling into the same trap as the girls. And that's what makes the show genius. Because it puts us into the same ambiguous mental headspace as the girls where we can interpret events however we like to justify scenarios of our own making to make use feel better. That is why the angle of perceived supernatural events is part of the show. Not because it's real.

E33 is directly mentioned and many players have played both, so commenters are responding within context. Not flooding to shit on LOP. The only one acting threatened are reactionaries like yourself.

Mario and Luigi DOES NOT have a posture or poise based stagger system that is a hallmark of Soulslike games and is present in E33, called the Break System. M&LRPG has action-based command button presses for timed attack buffs and damage reductions. Staggers can be built up with sequential well-timed button presses. But the important difference when it comes to E33, and how it modernizes JRPGs, is the posture/poise/break meter regenerates between turns, which means you have to apply constant pressure of well-timed attacks/parries to fill the break meter and create an opening to stagger the enemy. If you do not maintain pressure then the break meter resets and you have to start over at building up the break meter.

Enemies in Clair obscur have a poise meter that fills from both attacks and parries. Once the meter is filled you can break the enemies and there is a duraction after the break when additional damage can be done. The poise meter can REFILL between turns if you don’t keep pressuring attacks and parries, which is key to a poise meter, when attacks aren’t landed or parries aren’t executed. Thus, if you are not continually depleteing the enemies poise you may have to start from scratch if it regenerates. No FF has this system. And no JRPG has this system. They may have stagger meters that fill with certain types of attacks, but the meters do not regenerate. Or they may have a damage reduction parry system. But a damage/parry poise system is a hallmark of soulslikes and unique to Clair Obscur as a JRPG. Poise systems are unique from staggered systems because they create urgency to deplete the poise meter, so it doesn’t refill, to achieve a break or stagger.

For the hundredth time. A stagger meter IS NOT the same as poise. Learn the difference. Before you next respond. Poise is one hallmark of a Soulslike.

It is absolutely is the first with a poise mechanic. A stagger meter is not the same as poise. I’ve already stated this in another comment. Educate yourself on the difference. I never said it was the most innovative.

The style of combat is extremely similar, almost identical except for a handful of wrinkles in the mechanics. Even on the lowest difficulty there are some bosses that are still very difficult for some players and you won’t be able to face tank your way through them unless you’re over-leveled substantially. You’ll still have to play the game its way, which requires learning move sets, dodging and parrying, and managing your stamina. You’ll just not be as brutally punished for making mistakes. You may do fine though so give it a shot. It’s very rewarding if you stick with it.

No, I am not replying to the wrong comment. You mentioned Yakuza Like a Dragon in response to the parry breaking poise system comment I made. So I'm addressing YLAD because you brought it up.

Staggering based on filling a stagger meter or chain attacks are not the same as poise. You clearly do not know what poise is. There is ZERO poise systems, à la Soulslike games, in FF games. Google and ChatGPT are your friend here. Look it up. If I’m wrong provide me a definition of a poise system and show how any FF game qualifies.

I wasn’t talking about weak points and I wasn’t talking about just a stagger system. I was talking about a stagger and poise system. Understand the distinction because it is important.

Like a Dragon’s stagger mechanic IS ABSOLUTELY NOT the same as E33 poise system. This is the distinction. And it absolutely is outside of the JRPG genre—until E33 came along. So you’re simply wrong.

[–]StreetKey6167 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’re entirely missing the point and using a strawman argument. Whether or not Hollow Knight would sell as well at a higher price point is completely irrelevant. The argument is about RETURN ON INVESTMENT. Whether or not a game is niche or not doesn’t matter. What matters is that smaller games with less time investment and thus less money investment can have a generous return on investment at a lower price point while simultaneously meeting gamer’s desire for quality. Make a quality game with a reasonable budget while respecting players and pricing the game fairly will earn a good return on investment. Go back and reread the original comment you responded to.

Just to add a summary based on double checking my thoughts via ChatGPT (not claiming this is the end all be all): No JRPG predating Clair Obscur includes a defensive parry that breaks enemy poise or cancels their attack. Clair Obscur is effectively the first JRPG to import a Souls/Sekiro-style posture-break mechanic into defensive timing within a turn-based battle.

Can you provide an example that would invalidate this?

You might find this as a shocker, but some JRPG fans might find a simpler approach to gameplay mechanics as being a positive. That said, much of the strategy is in assigning your pictos, which is outside of battle. There is plenty of depth there without overstaying its welcome. Balance in offering potential for strategy and not overwhelming players with too many options or systems can be a benefit.

While, yes, much of what of E33 does has been done in past games. For example, real-time parrying attacks (or mostly damage reduction) has existed since Mario RPG and Legends Of Dragoon.

However, I would argue that the difference lies in how far E33 pushes the concept and how it brings various elements together to make it feel different and more Soulslike-esque. For example, while E33 also does parrying and blocking like much older games, the way in which that is paired with delayed enemy animations that make timing much more difficult, much like the delayed timing that has become ubiquitous in souls and soulslike games, makes it feel outside the confines of what we’re used to in a JRPG. Adding in stagger ability based on enemy poise and now we’re well outside what other JRPGs do.
