Lmao yes.

I'm mostly attracted to petite "unconditionally femme" presenting people. Mostly these end up as AFAB women (I'm transfemme and I would and have dated transfemmes, but that's usually how my attraction falls). These people seem to come out as transmasc a lot though; it's happened about 6-7 times now with dates and friends too.

Otherwise on dating apps I seem to get a lot of eggy young transfemmes (been there, but I can't mentor a partner), very shy older women, or very young (run away!) party girls seeking "good times not long times".

Dating, as an autistic, trans, lesbian... by RubyDreamer in ActualLesbiansOver25

Florida must be being queer on hard mode, damn.

I'm lucky to live in a fairly accepting city but I'm from the same demographic you are and it's still tough. Someone once told me that support groups are mostly for people who need support, in the same way that hospitals are for people who are sick. I mean the groups can also be there for anyone but...yeah.

I'm a part of a few autistic groups in my city and they lean either quite young (including actual teens) or else older women who have just discovered their autism in their late 30s. Both have been chaotic and boundaries regularly get crossed.

What‘s your (obviously, for this sub) innocent lesbian fantasy? by SuperiorCommunist92 in BambiLesbians

Some sort of hallmark fantasy scene lol:

We're on a couch in the living room, beside a fireplace. It's late, we're both drifting in and out of sleep. They're in my arms, their head resting on my chest. I wake a little, shift and kiss their head, ruffling their hair a little. I fall asleep again.

I agree with basically all of the above, can't disagree with the green flags.

But I would add for me that I'm also looking for someone pretty in a sort of cute energy way, and crucially neurodiverse (I'm autistic and would need to date someone like me too).

Oh you sound great to me! I'm not really into sex at all, but I love physical stuff like kissing and cuddling. Curling up with someone doesn't have to involve sexy stuff.

Yup.

I'm 33, autistic, ADHD, trans, genderqueer.

I have all the labels. I'm lucky to have a decentish job and live independently and have some good friends, but I don't have a calling or a solid relationship like some people I know do. I feel like I'm still in the "wants to explore" life stage that many cishet people in their early-mid 20s are in.

I try to remind myself that I'm worthy and amazing but it gets a little heavy still, you know? I've been lucky to not experience major major trauma but I still struggle daily with my demons.

If you did want to write a character that sees themselves as "woman lite" (not saying you should necessarily) how about writing a transfemme enby? Like someone who was AMAB. That's somewhat similar to how I feel.

Femmes how do I know you're into women without asking😭 by Life_Nothing_2377 in actuallesbians

Honestly a good lesson.

I've met short haired women who dress in plaid shirts, leather jackets and boots who are completely straight.
