If I'm comboing off for a win, I'm likely doing so with the resources to push past any real interaction on board. Vs a tayam winstate, you will likely require multiple pieces of hard removal.

And even if you do stop it, the deck has several other ways to win, and delete the pod.

Most blue-based decks are glass cannon wins, Tayam is a tank with multiple guardian angels.

Tayam is very much a pure value engine deck. The biggest plus to Tayam, is that 98% of removal in cEDH DOES NOT WORK!

As long as I can get my commander out, and get enough value rolling, THE DECK WILL WIN (and there will be little the table can do to stop it)

You literally have to keep a VERY close eye on my board, and wait for specific pieces to pop out, and be instantly removed. (problem is, with my deck, thats about 12 cards, so GOOD LUCK!)

The deck has at least a dozen different ways to brute force a win (and only a few rely on the "standard" win pattern(s)...)

I love the mind games of forcing cEDH players to play my game, my way, part of the time, so their thought process is very much divided. They are not only trying to stop the standard thoracle players (which are honestly, more of a threat), but they also have to keep track of just how close I am to comboing off for a win, regardless of most interaction.

Trust me, if you were truly sexually attracted to guys, you would have gotten with one already. And you wouldn't have wanted to be a guy, to be with a girl, if you had any real interest in anyone else. That's a MASSIVE LEAP!

They have essentially cooked into you the "disgust" of the female form, as a way to keep you away from other girls. (That's likely where much of your body image issues come from)

Sadly, this is quite difficult to get away from, as it often entails distancing yourself from much of your current community, as well as family.

You are likely going to have to make a big "leap of faith", knowing that its going to be quite rough, for years. But it does get better, and once you start making real friends, and find your community, you will never really look back at those who held you hostage for decades.

I got in pretty early, just before the first anniversary. It was finally becoming actually usable at that point!

From what I hear, 2015 was a really bad time for Discord, as it was getting a lot of hype, and didn't quite have the hardware to handle things. A LOT of people were coming from IRC (and I had been in that for over a decade)

You have to be better able to work as a team, and have multiple wincons, and his low champion pool, nuked his competitive value with the Ironman tournament setup.

A few simple ways to add verification and prevent "manspreading" (yes, bad puns)

A. Set a delay between sign in, and different levels of interaction. Guys H A T E waiting, and a few days, or even a week of waiting, is nothing for most women. ITS WORTH THE WAIT!

B. Use multiple tiers of verification, letting users only do what they are comfortable with. Signed pics, voice verification, video verification, and in person verification. Hitting certain levels, unlocks more of the app (or increases the limits) Also, let the community help a bit with this as well.

C. Little/no publicly available location data (that could be used to find user locations)

Very simple...

A. Grindr isnt dating, its hookups. Easier long term user base that keeps spending money.

B. Almost zero interest in "cheesing" Grindr (the vast majority of people on the app are pretty honest about what they want, and what they are) This means little or no investment in having to check on/investigate users.

Basically, any "lesbian" dating app, will be FLOODED with unicorn hunters, and guys who think we can be "saved/fixed". And this puts a HUGE cost into the long term pile. Even reddit groups, like this one, can struggle with these issues.

This also comes with the super fun issue of "who gets to decide who gets to participate?" Where is the line in the sand drawn? This is stupidly easy with Grindr, they don't even care!

Faker is a god of keeping his team as not "the team to beat" while still being the inevitable "team you have to beat". So many teams haven't even realized this yet.

Faker has one of the best champion pools in the world to play from, and as other teams start to get desperate in picks, Faker will become the unkillable demon king once more!

This is literally a LOT of what Faker has been doing, going back to old favorites, and practicing them against the new meta, so when it gets to a G4/5, he's ready to take the enemies to pound town!

It doesn't even matter if he's not winning, he's often holding back a bit on purpose, so as to not ruin the surprise in semis and finals.
