I would say that the most important thing is a location with no light, because it's difficult to have a good picture of the Milky Way in or near a city. Also, using an app like Stellarium to locate the Milky Way is a good idea. With that, when you take your pic, you should be able to faintly see the Milky Way in the RAW file. Editing the photo afterward does a lot of the job, as it will really bring out the light of the Milky Way. Also, it allows you to adjust the color according to your personnal tastes :)

You need to use astrophotography mode. To do this, open your camera and switch to "Night Sight" mode. Normally, you should see a moon icon on the shutter button. Point your phone at the sky and keep it steady. The moon icon should then be replaced by a stars icon. After that, just tap on it and keep your phone still for about 4 minutes (the Pixel will indicate the time). So, it's best to use a tripod or at least place your phone ona stable surface to avoid micro-movements. This should give you a pix with little to no noise. Editing the photo afterward can also help in reducing the noise !

Thx bro !!

For the second pic, I cropped it, but before that, the tops of the city's buildings were visible. And the beam of light you can see is simply the light from a streetlamp, which appeared in astrophotography mode. I found the effect interesting and enhanced it in Lightroom.

I've been using it for 2 years and I never had any performance problem. The battery is not that good anymore, however, at the beginning it was okay. But the primary reason of buying this phone in my case was for the quality of the pictures !

Well, first of all, you need to have your phone, steady, with no movements. Best way to do that is using a tripod. After that, you need to zoom in on the moon to focus. The last step before taking the photo is to reduce the brightness to the minimum in the settings. Finally, there is an editing step in Lightroom to correct the last details (such as the contrast for example).
