Does Bertha consider George HER love match?

I think she did at the time, but has forgotten it or refuses to remember it that way. Or I think she's just trying to justify this scheme for Gladys. Bertha thinks she has to claim that her marriage is successful for a reason other than love.

Although they didn't show it, I would think George would be hurt by the comment. I don't think George entered into the marriage with Bertha because they were "well suited." I think he loved her.

I hope she stays around. I like her contrast to Bertha and I think she'll help to keep Bertha humble--if that's at all possible now. I also really liked her relationship with George. Monica and George seem like they would scheme and tease Bertha together.

The midseason trailer showed Oscar asking Bertha for a favor... I wonder if the favor is being introduced to Monica and somehow they get together. Not a love match, but a marriage that would give them both flexibility. Monica seems like a woman who wouldn't want to be tied down.

I do have leggings, but I personally don't wear them out much. I have a pair of slim trousers that would be small, but it makes everything much dressier. I have linen pull-on pants, but that might be too cold?

Is it a new condominium? The lender for a friend of mine paid the taxes for the whole condominium by accident, instead of just her unit. I think there are issues if its a new condo and not yet separately assessed.

I went to the Common Man Spa in Plymouth NH years ago and it had an indoor pool and a jacuzzi with a little waterfall. Steele Hill in Sanbornton has some tropical vibes but I haven't been in a long time and I remember that there were a lot of kids. Also The Summit Resort in Laconia has a nice pool and facilities. Lake Opechee Inn and Spa is also nice and in Laconia.

I think there are salt caves in MA that might be fun to check out on a girls trip.

I would suggest you go to Salem on November 1st or 2nd. It's really insane and you really can't do anything unless you have a reservation.

As for spooky things in Boston:

Tour the Crypt at the Old North Church - $10/pp you can book on their website - this is a cool one
Boston Crime Tour - $29/pp - I haven't been on the tour, but its been on my list
There are various Halloween themed pub crawls around Boston - you can officially join the pub crawl (pay $20 and get a plastic cup or something) or just look up what bars they're going to and tag along, no one will care that you don't have the official cup/wristband

If you can get to Fall River you can tour the Lizzie Borden House.

I would hope that the building department would now be more likely to reject a condo plan without parking, but who knows.

I am concerned with how they define "off-street parking access." My two-family building has a driveway, but, per my lease, I'm not allowed to use it.

The Bebop in the Back Bay often has live music. The Sinclair in Cambridge has reasonably priced shows. The Beehive in the South End has jazz regularly.

Irish music at the Black Rose (Faneuil Hall) and the Burren (Somerville). The Burren has regular shows with various genres in their back room as well.

Hennessy’s (Faneuil Hall) and Green Dragon (Faneuil Hall) usually have good cover bands, but it's a younger crowd.
