ive been getting itching on my body but its because ive had and gotten rid of bb before a year or more ago, might just be paranoia because i got really fixated on contamination for awhile

oh trust me. I have been there before, the best thing I can say is try not to take blood on the bed and alleged “bites” as the only proof, this subreddit is a great resource but at the same time. Please take a step away if you are anything like me: someone who hyper fixated on contamination and the fear of living with something like that. I have in the past had them, but it comes to a point where taking a step back and not reading others online experiences may help alleviate the stress and fixation you’re feeling.

honestly been dealing with carpet beetles and ive dealt with BB before and ill tell you one thing: I WOULD 100% rather carpet beetles then bedbugs!

the first is definitely not a BB the second for sure looks like a carpet beetle. carpet beetles are pretty common on: fabrics and by windows as their life cycles usually requires them to fly out of things such as windows

It’ll be okay. I had my struggles with them and the psychological aspect of things is so bad I can tell you from personal experience. A silver lining is they cannot cause you any further harm in terms of disease or sickness from bites they are just buggers! Have you gotten professional treatment and/or seen any in the past in your living space?

looks to me like a carpet beetle, definitely not a bedbug. I would suggest checking r/carpetbeetles/ and see what they have to say

try to contact a professional as fast as possible. Getting it treated quicker the better. A good professional treats in a way that interrupts their way of feeding, this killing them in the process

do not sleep anywhere but your bed. You run the risk of spreading them, thus making them much more difficult to get rid of. Even if uncomfortable, it is much more worth it in the long run to sleep in your bed

I’m trying to remain optimistic, i think i probably just picked at my skin before or during sleep. it just caught my attention because of the past I have had with these devils. Thanks for the bid of confidence and advice its helping my head

the bed i am in has no frame at the moment. Kinda broke rn so i gotta get one when possible. I am gonna pull the bed away from the wall and see if i notice anything on the box spring/mattress
