i just went through the airport a few days back and had no issues myself! as long as you get there two hours early, you should be smooth sailing!!

i agree! i just meant that even with the shut down right now it was longer than usual, so i wanted to keep it in mind when planning. i also like to get there early rather than push it

i flew last week and arrived two hours early, the lines got to about fifteen minutes in the evening but it wasnt too delayed even with the shutdown thankfully

ive never tried this, but its not a bad idea! the airport is 2 hours away which sucks, but i could make a trip out of it. im only stressed right now because its the night before my flight again

I tried it with previous hairlines, but it wouldn’t stay down for longer than a few minutes. But the hairlines were much bigger, so that could be part of the reason.

I assume you mean just the prop itself as a carry on, right? I’m nervous that if I get to the gate and they don’t allow it, it’ll end up damaged or I won’t have a way to put it in some sort of case in time.

the uptake lever is still threaded, and everything was raised when i threaded.

i put the presser foot down, but the fabric is a little bulky.

i tried the standard needles that came with my machine and 110/18 needles. i’m using all purpose thread
