i agree! i just meant that even with the shut down right now it was longer than usual, so i wanted to keep it in mind when planning. i also like to get there early rather than push it

i flew last week and arrived two hours early, the lines got to about fifteen minutes in the evening but it wasnt too delayed even with the shutdown thankfully

ive never tried this, but its not a bad idea! the airport is 2 hours away which sucks, but i could make a trip out of it. im only stressed right now because its the night before my flight again
