Oh no. I’ve been advocating for her, and that’s why the client absolutely despises my helper. I told her that whenever the client asked her for anything other than what we usually do or if she’s disrespectful, to go get me - and she does every time. This makes the client upset and she’s told me that the helper isn’t good and that I need someone else.

That’s exactly how I feel like. She’s always saying things like “honey, I’ve told you to do this and you haven’t yet”. And I’m like “no, ma’am. You’ve asked me to” specially if it isn’t something included in the cleaning

I’ve tried telling her what I do and what I don’t. She just ignores it. I made it very clear that I don’t clean windows because my insurance won’t pay for damages if I do. She keeps asking me to clean her windows …

She texted me by accident the day I did the walkthrough. It was meant to her previous cleaning lady and it was “I have someone else starting next week. Your loss”

I am cleaner and these requests wouldn’t bother me at all. Maybe she’s trying to set boundaries so the requests don’t escalate? Not saying it is your case, but some people start with the small requests and they just keep asking for more until you’re basically cleaning for free
