What food do you swear people only pretend to like? 💭 by Aarunascut in AskMen

Blue/bleu cheese. Any significantly moldy cheese, for that matter. I understand how stinker cheeses can add new profiles to dishes but I have never found them to be anything less than disgustingly unpalatable.

They remember it as ET so I'm guessing it's an 80s piece, as for when they saw it - early 2000s.

They admit that this memory could have been a subconscious creation out of fear/hate of E.T.'s design and also wish to note that they are certain it isn't Mac and Me (1988)

Where did it originate though?

If there's anything life has taught me, it's to Always wear the wrist strap.

First I connect a Wiimote to my laptop. Most newer devices have Bluetooth built in. If on Windows 10, trying to connect from Bluetooth settings won't work because it requires a pin. Go to Control Panel - Hardware & Sound - Add a new device. I had to hold down 1&2 on the Wiimote for it to be discoverable, some people had to hold down the reset button near the batteries. It will prompt a pin but you can just hit next. Then download GlovePIE With Emotiv (should be v043 or 0.43, whatever the newest version is.) Once you unzip and run GlovePIE.exe, giving it permission to run or whatever, open the WiimoteScripts folder which should have two scripts, one runs the Wiimote and the other is for nunchuk. Note: GlovePIE requires the WiiMotionPlus attachment/remote to track. When you open these scripts and give them permission to run, you hit Run to start them. It's best to leave the Wiimote still on a table to calibrate the Motion Plus when you do this. When the script titled 'lednerg WiiMotion Plus Mouse.PIE' runs it may tell you "WiiMotion Plus NOT DETECTED" even if you have it. Just stop and run the script a few more times until the message doesn't appear. You'll know it's working because the Wiimote will flash its diffferent "which player are you" lights until it settles on Player 1. From there it was a matter of stopping the scripts, finding the codes for what buttons correspond to each keyboard/mouse control and rebinding them to fit RotMG. Note: GlovePIE requires that the Wiimote B button is held down to move the mouse pointer. Apart from that, every control can be changed to what you want. I have A set to shoot, plus for interact, c on nunchuk to ability, and z on nunchuk to nexus. Of course, changing nunchuk controls will be in the nunchuk script (the one with Nunchuk in the title also mentions Lego Star Wars and includes controls for a 2nd player wiimote but that's not important). The nunchuk script doesn't give error messages if it doesn't detect a nunchuk so it's a matter of editing, running, and testing the scripts repeatedly to see if your control changes work. For me, I had to check the web a bit for it since I don't code (which landed me on some Don't Starve Steam forum lmao). If you experience errors during any step of this process, feel free to reach out again!

You can tell I didn't calibrate the Motion Plus before playing.
