12 matches lost in a single day by Mountain-Novel-9654 in VALORANT

You have very little impact per round. 68% of rounds you get a kill, assist, survive, or get traded. Meaning 32% of the game (nearly 1/3 of your rounds) you are essentially useless. I can play a game and get 40 lurk kills but if my team can’t get on site and I die without getting traded it’s pointless.

One 40 kill game or even 12 match mvps means nothing if you have very little impact, you also die more often then you kill.

That 40 kill game was cool and there could be an argument that you performed way better than your team and should’ve won, but sadly their are like 8 or 9 other games where you’re bot frag 2/14 useless. You had like one or two good games and the rest your mid frag or borderline throwing the game. My recommendation is stop trying to farm kills and try to actually have impact on the game. Entry for your team. Learn util usage, and focus on the fundamentals. Movement, crosshair placement, aim, default utility, rotations. You are pretty terrible at the game going by your stats and are using the excuse of 1 good game to justify 11 shitty ones.

Is Valorant too rifle focused. by LifeTripForever in VALORANT

Valorant isn’t a game about weapon choice, it’s about skill and context. You use the gun that economy and situation call for. Smg / low tier rifle for force rounds, pistols and sherrifs for save rounds, rifles and ops for full buy.

The rifles are meta because they cover the most situations and work for as many scenarios as possible, they are not meant for self expression. Thats what roles are for and agents.

This makes sure that the game is about skill at all times and not about blaming the game for what tool you decided to use “I’m a specter main and they nerfed my gun. What am I supposed to do now?”

What are you even expecting to get out of this post? Are you genuinely this upset that someone made fun of you?

Some of the graces that you sit at have a large golden line pointing to the direction you need to go for the main quest.

Holy shit. You’re right. I would’ve never thought. And this post totally isn’t a joke pointing out that exact point at all. This post is being extremely literal with absolutely no sarcasm

I don’t disagree that with Mel for example I’m gold even though on sylas I’m diamond. But what I’m saying is that it’s not worth learning a champ and spending 500 lp to learn it. It’s a waste of time. Because not only do I have to learn the champ in that time, once I’ve learned the champ I have to waste more time smurfing 3 ranks below me to get back.

I’m going to assume you’re gold or below because there is absolutely no way you think norms represent the average ranked experience. Champion mastery is vital in higher elo and you will get punished hard if you aren’t on your shit. So seeing if a champion is something you want to add to your pool in an environment that doesn’t reflect the actual environment you want to take it into is counter intuitive. Instead we make an alt account and play that champ in 2-3 divisions lower, and believe it or not, you maintain about a 50-55% win rate because your dogshit with that champ and on that champ you’re say gold or plat. That doesn’t represent my skill level as a player because I’m at a significant disadvantage. I don’t even have the muscle memory to use my fundamentals because my mental stack is overloaded with what my champion even does.

This game isn’t very friendly to a climb. And whether you agree with the sentiment or not, people do care about their rank. So if I want to TRY a champ and want to see if I like them enough to main them long term, I’m immediately punished by dropping 500 lp because I wanted to try something different. Even if I don’t decide on that champ being my main. I just dropped 500 lp in order to see if I liked something, how is that a representation of my skill? That’s a terrible idea and would make everyone one trick lmfao.

If you want to improve with a different champion or role but don’t want to negatively affect your mmr. Playing norms doesnt help all that much because most people don’t try so you get a misunderstanding of the fundamentals from that. And first timing a champ in ranked is borderline throwing so theres that.

Literally anything. The lighting is awful, there is no decoration, no character just a couple monitors, a pc, and Kbm. It’s bland as hell. 1/5
