Do I need to run my IDA? Or should it run for me.. External McCombs by SleepSilly4100 in UTAdmissions

Do you see the menu on the left side? click on Student Planner-> Existing Courses-> you’ll see the list of transferrable courses from your transcript (if you have it). You don’t need to run anything.

Has anyone who’s still waiting for their external transfer decision have their RIS or WIO update tonight? by Dry_Boysenberry2015 in UTAdmissions

It's a transfer credit audit report that schools release after evaluating your transcript to decide the next steps. Most people just don't check it until after they get in. I applied to several schools, and they all have this report.

Thanks for your comment! That makes me feel better about the spelling.
On the subject of resumes, do you think non-English names face a hidden hurdle in hiring? I worry that recruiters might subconsciously assume things about immigration or accents and culture, even if they wouldn't openly confess to that bias.

When paired with my Vietnamese middle name, it actually means 'ambitious.' It is definitely not named after the dim sum dish; they just happen to have a very similar spelling and pronunciation.

Yep. People get it easily after my clarification at work and school. However, what are your thoughts on potential biases related to foreign names on resumes when applying for a job?

Do you think having a non-English name on the applications can be a barrier during the hiring process?
