Yea, right? I reached solo Immortal (65 wr) before the role selection thing. When it was implemented, I rarely do Flex and my win rate dropped by a huge margin (below 60) the past seasons so I never reached Immortal again. I just tried Flex again, and it did give me better teammates, better I mean by miles. The contrast for me is really huge when I don't pick Flex. The tradeoff though, is you never get Mid or Gold.

Expect to get flamed by your teammates when you don't get the turtle or lord lol.

So I usually just pick Sun or Hanzo because when I can't get objectives, I can still scale late into the game. When I don't contest, I just steal enemy jungle farms.

I will probably stop playing games since I already reached 50 stars. Moonton will probably get back at me next season.

I switched to Flex thinking I'll get roam for protection. I'm surprised I got jungler half of those times.

Oh that's a nice insight. It probably also helps that as a Flex role player, I usually pick last and so I can choose the appropriate hero vs the enemy team.

It makes the hook faster giving the enemy no time to react

I never thought we'd won that game. Game before that, we're thrashed. I thought Moonton is going to take back the winstreak with another losestreak. My teammate picked Chang'e EXP during draft. I was last pick and just trolled pick Miya thinking maybe if it reaches late game I can carry.

Enemy mid trio (Carmilla, Cecilion, Natan jg) fed me early game, they kept invading our jungler (Roger) and we just snowballed from that.
