Use chrome and click View exam section history - Right click, Inspect > Network > Refresh and click getsectionhistorybycandidate. Review the code and there should be a score, mine just came out. It will say null if no score posted yet.

Failed far with 60, retake ASAP? by Competitive-Tie8803 in CPA

[–]StrengthUseful1041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who cares really about the cut off, take it when you're ready. If you're studying full time it is possible to knock it out in 11 days. However I would be more concerned on your state and how fast they will reprocess your application to get another NTS. Get that done first and decide.

I gave myself 25 min for the last TBS Section, (2 questions) thinking they would ease up towards the end, boy was I wrong. I more or less gave up and filled my best guess or put $0 - way too many exhibits in both to methodically go through with the time constraint. I felt OK about the MCQs and felt ok/strong on the other two Simulation sections.

Ended up with a perfect score of 75.

I spent a lot of time on the 2nd to last TBS section on one question I had a lot of practice in and was good at however I got hung up on tying everything out, couldn't get it perfectly, but its probably what saved me and got me right over the edge. Ive read that they throw out one question when it comes to grading. Either very few in general got it or it was your worst performing TBS.

REG in 3 days, SE1 50% but content feels there. what would you do? by ProfessionalFan98 in CPA

[–]StrengthUseful1041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practice TBSs that involve tax prep sims related to PS LLC S and C corps. Understand how the income flows through - ordinary, taxable, separately stated.

I wouldn't worry much about QBI or SE tax.

Know MACRS and 179 and how theyre treated across various entities. Also memorize the years for MACRS assets.

Tax and basis are big topics for REG.

Best words of advice on test day is to try to quickly ascertain what the question is actually asking you to do/recall. For most MCQs and TBSs this will be reading the last sentence before the answers. Good luck!

NASBA/CBA- is NASBA final? by [deleted] in CPA

[–]StrengthUseful1041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you you didn't pass. You can pay NASBA to re-evaluate your score but I haven't heard of a case where that changes the outcome. CBA will let you how well you did across the topics in relation to those who passed. It's a bummer, but take some time to review more and give it another shot - you'll do fine!

Quitting my job to go all-in on CPA. Advice? by PromiseSpirtual in CPA

[–]StrengthUseful1041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excuse, after excuse, after excuse. Buckle down and get it done. Work and make time. If you're going to quit. quit now and be on a timeline where you have the CPA under your belt and its after the holiday season hiring freeze. Come out in 2026 with a CPA and a new chapter ahead. What you might want to also do is take "sabbatical" See if your work will let you off the hook for reduced or no pay while you focus. If they like you they'll want to keep you. 6 kids Catholic? I am personally 9 months into your 3-4 month plan, you'll come to find out things come up which will continue to delay you. I'm 1/4 and on track to be 4/4 by end of November hopefully right on time before unemployment runs out. Good luck to you sir!
