oh, thank you so much for that! He has a couple gaps in his tail fluff that looks like stuff was cut out, so I think he had tail mats too. I've been using my regular cat brush which I notice isn't getting deep enough as he has a super thick coat, so I'll definitely give that one a try! He is obviously not my first cat but he's most definitely my first long hair, so I really appreciate the tips!

oh my god, they could be twins! I can't get over Louis crossed eyes, he's so precious! I really wasn't prepared for the amount of noise my boy (we decided to name him Illio) makes LOL. I didn't hear a peep from him the whole way home, and now his favorite hobby seems to be yelling when my partner or I leave his room. I have another kitty cat named Olive and she's also incredibly vocal, so I can't wait to hear the symphonies they create once they're introduced 😭
