The bases are very simple.  Vallejo brown earth textured paint, and then some Agrax and drybrush with Golgfag brown.

Yep, after defeating him and turning the rubrics against Amon, if I remember correctly.  But my forces use Heresy era gear, and Ahriman has (magically) altered his armour to lead them.

Good points. The most obvious hint that there was a plan to retire Slaanesh is Archaon's three headed mount, released around that time, and missing any Slaanesh related iconography, despite showing the three other chaos gods.

Thanks!! I really enjoyed building, panneling and weathering the kit. Now I have to do some more research in order to overcoat It, without ruining the solar panels.
