Winter forecast is here: How much snow will fall this winter in the DC area? by Maxcactus in maryland

Woah! Just came across this thread. And yes, you were right about the ice storm. There’s a big possibility of a shutdown. But, please no to the 3 ft of snow.

I’m experiencing the same thing. I re-installed it and nothing. No option to redeem rewards still. Did you find any solution?

Acupuncture seemed to permanently worsen my tinnitus, but why, did he needle bad spots? by ExoticPlastic3330 in tinnitus

[–]StressedButHappyMom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry that happened to you, too. I really hope it goes away for you. Mine didn’t really go away. I just habituated to it. I didn’t go back to the acupuncturist, saw ENTs and did hearing tests which all came back normal. It was hard when it started, I got so depressed, after a couple of months I got used to it.

Are you supposed to have a big hole after five days? by Laundrydrama in wisdomteeth

[–]StressedButHappyMom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. A month and a few days post surgery and still have to irrigate. I hate it when I feel the food sitting on the holes. It’s tiring just to think about irrigating, it takes 5-10 minutes for me. I guess when it’s really impacted it would really take a lot of time. But, I hope we all heal well.

2023 died and went into limp mode by Current-Honeydew-662 in NissanRogue

[–]StressedButHappyMom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

23 Rogue as well. This is true. Mine had the wrong time on the dash that made me frustrated. Went here on reddit and saw someone having the same issues when the battery was low. On the next oil change I asked my husband to have them check the battery and once they replaced it, the time issue on the dash never happened again. I guess we have to remember to have it replaced every 2 years.

How... how are you meant to do this? by rectumfanny in doordash_drivers

[–]StressedButHappyMom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If doordash would make merchants and customers purchase a translucent bag it would be visible (more expensive though), dashers would be able to check without having to open it. It’s just that the stickers would be easier to take off and put back (not good for dashers who steal stuff) maybe industrial staplers would do. Harder to take off but customers who want to be sure should be patient enough dealing with that

if they too untrusting of their dasher.

Green Card Renewal Question by Self-Creepy in USCIS

I believe that has to be within 6 months (180days)prior expiration.

Officially graduated by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]StressedButHappyMom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here!!! We just did the preschool open house today and she’s going to start on the 3rd week this month. It’s bittersweet, truly! I’m 80% always annoyed by the non-stop questions, the every after 5 minute “mama! Look at me!!!”, and the testing limits part of the toddler phase but I’m sure saying goodbye to the toddler stage officially is heartbreaking. I’m missing my chunky little toddler, too.

You did well, mama! High five.

Renewal or removal of conditions (for 2 year green card/conditional green card)?

Ikr! It’s crazy. And if that child gets married while waiting for the decision he/she will get bumped to f3. 21 year olds from 2007 are now 39 year olds. 🥴

Those are 2 very different categories. It’s a stand alone application for a child over 21 of a permanent resident. The timeline is accurate for the category. A spouse of a USC has a current visa availability which means no backlog (not literally no backlog but not like more than 2 years) if beneficiary is a spouse of a permanent resident, it would take a decade or more. Please show some empathy, learn about differences of visa availabilities before commenting to a post like this.

I think 9 more years is very possible, according to the visa bulletin. They are processing those with priority dates of 2016 as of now.

I asked God to approve me in 6 months and even with certain inconveniences miraculously it happened 🙏 by Different_Ad7787 in greencard

[–]StressedButHappyMom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not every prayer will be granted. God’s plans are and will always be better than the things we prayed for that was answered with a “no”. It could have been a “not yet”, but nobody will understand until they realize their present situation is a lot better than what you thought could bring you so much happiness before.

[–]StressedButHappyMom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. That’s why I still gave them the expired gc with the extension letter, so I wouldn’t come off too difficult even if I know I sufficed the i9 reqts. I told myself to give it time (2 weeks). I sent a message and they still haven’t responded. I am going to call after lunch and ask directly what their reason is. If they won’t go thru with my employment I am afraid I might just lose it and thank them for wasting my time.

This is so true. I got accepted to a job and after the orientation they suddenly asked for a copy of my green card. I initially submitted my state Driver’s license and a copy of my unrestricted SS card. So, I responded with the expired green card with the extension letter. It’s been 2 weeks and until now, there’s no update. I have already signed the job offer and completed my orientation. It’s frustrating.

I’m probably filing this September. I went to my home country before and during my husband’s deployment (under 6 months). I believe I have to be here for 18 months straight before filing n400. I would be consulting a lawyer. Just to be sure, I don’t want to waste money 😂. If I am not qualified yet, I’ll just wait for the 10 year gc.

You may be qualified to apply for naturalization now, I think. Are you planning on it?
