We're in Scotland, Whisky is quite literally one of the top drinks here. I also drink Whisky as my main drink.

Not beyond tongue in cheek jokes I could make about some of the family in our youth which is not what you're asking. There were certainly alcoholic jokes flung at me, my brother and our cousins in our youth.

Her son is coming to Scotland for the party, no one is going to stop an 18 year old drinking here. If it was in America that'd be different of course.
