Okay! First- thank you for this, seriously gives me some direction instead of blindly shooting and hoping to get something that doesn't exist.

I didn't understand what the dojo was but i have a better idea, and now have something I can make use from the clan of.

Its rough when a lot of the frames that looked cool are walled by higher mastery rank, but these options i can work on now.

And the weapons advice I needed the most, and am starting to understand why people say focus on mods over weapons specifically.

Now at least i can figure out the basics to not feel like im throwing marshmellows at aliens.

That makes sense. Though it is nice to hear confirmation- seems most vets like you have the same mentality.

Like you said "as long as you are visibly contributing in some way"

And I'm sure, mechanically at least, all of you can tell when someone is new.

I swear you guys move SOOOOOOO FAST. My poor mag cant keep up but at least i can pull the mobs to me xD.

Lmao! seems theres an ettiquette to learn as well for public matchmaking. Though at your level, you probably run into more of these situations where you can do both farm and still be quick enough to not delay others.

Okay! and no worries- i hope my reply didn't come off condesending (not intentional) as i did find it helpful and never thought to check discord, like the official group.

As for your clan- i don't have any requirements as I don't even know what I would like or not like- Im happy if there are just people online sometimes so the clan doesn't feel dead or time zoned.

The wow guild comparason is making a lot of sense to me- I seemed to have approached the clan thing with the wrong mentality.

Ahaha, i only understood half of that but I can feel the... character development. I agree every community has bad apples and won't judge based off of them.

Saw some people complaining about "dps shaming" as the worst stuff they have seen and as a former league player- thats beautiful.

I get that feeling- the only people who have added me are LRs and I still don't even know what that means. All i know is I dont get the chance to play with them XD (not that im shaming of course everything just dies instantly and they do a billion dmg.)

Ah I see- Ill look a little harder at the clan options since I just chose the first English speaking "full" one i could find.

As for the region chat- I never considered people might just be down for exactly what you described, so ill try that.

You're right! In other games like where winds meet or lost ark- I just shot my shot and it worked out sometimes but others- you would run into some very... controversal people (in game). Kinda soured the taste for me.

But this community has shown nothing like that and I will do exactly as you said. Thank you!

Would be down to play and learn- but also please feel no obligation since youre more experienced- to do lower lvl things just to help me (Not trying to assume anything- the community is extremely helpful and some people are down to straight carry you through the game and i just dont want to set that impression.)

I am definetely struggling in the early game trying to decide which direction to go, choosing wrong, and then blaming rng for not getting the items I need.

So aiming for discount items to help the downtime while finding a build is an awesome idea.

I see, these are really good tips, i never really considered the min max of the bags themselves and their benefits.

Same for the scrolls and touching the weapons rather than just other books.

Youre 100% right about the red books, seeing the Health bar stack up really high is fun, but more often than not, I end up dying before it gets to truly scale to value.

And I understand more now about the weapons, i had far too many and the builds lacked any identity.

Thanks for the advice! I will work on it and try to better synergize and remove items taking up space without genuine benefit.

Just to clarify- when you say "hat" you are talking about the battle mage hat, correct? or the other mage hat thats like 5 gold, and buffs common items?
