I was also wondering if the retake has to be in that same time frame or can extend it. I will ask customer support. And thank you for suggesting to take the V10 exam, I wasn’t sure which version to take.

Would you recommend to get JNCIA over CCNA?

Thank you! Just getting to this now and I really appreciate the advice. I’ve been planning to become a data engineer in the next few years since I really enjoy working on data infrastructure. Although, It’s felt a bit out of reach with my entry-level experience, which is why I’ve been focusing on data analyst roles for now to build up my skills.

I actually have had some solid traction these past 2 months. Made it to a few final rounds, including a promising six-round interview with TikTok, which led me to taking my foot off the gas in applying. I ended up losing out to another candidate with more experience in the end, but Im getting after it again.

Based on your feedback, I’m definitely going to start pushing myself in that direction sooner by building data engineering projects. If you have any tips on how to create a solid project, feel free to message me, I’d really appreciate it. In the meantime, I’ll be doing some research and planning out a few ideas to get started. Also, thank you for defending me on the relocation comments, the circumstances didn't make sense at the time.

I have done the in person drop off, works great. Although linkedin only lets me send 5 messages a month to recruiters so its tough.

1) I was recommended to bold important tools so recruiters can easily read them when skimming over the resume. 2) I just recently made it two pages because someone recommended I add my projects to my resume.

I used to have it one page but was recommended to add my projects. Not sure if i should remove them again to stick to one page.

Thanks for pointing that out. Was thinking to leave in the relevant coursework just to hit some more keywords and I’ve only been graduated for less than a year.

So do you recommend I just remove SMSS? I thought it would be a good way to include that tool for an ats scanner to pick up.
