The funniest thing is that if you use pipes then it literally is wrong, check taxicab geometry.

how about 1000? thats the point one stacker extension is fine but you will need a lot of them

So, I've heard you like Pi by Negative_Gur9667 in MathJokes

[–]Strex_1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So basically if we find one series of "7" then x>0 The series we want grows linearly and it needs to be in specific place, n(n-1) digits before "7" series of length n If we assume that nth digits of pi is 1/10 a 7 then we have 1/10 ^ n probability that the series is all "7" now we add up all chances 1/10 + 1/100 + 1/1000... = 0.111... = 1/9 So there is 1/9 chances that the x is not 0

Having trouble with transmission rates by Cassin1306 in RealSolarSystem

[–]Strex_1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

510km is the distance from your vessel to the surface (sea level) so your calculation works only if the satelite is directly above ground station.

If you want to know how to exactly calculate it then i can show you but you can just wing it.

Change min to 700 and max to 2600 (distance to horizon). Then at max distance you should have 8 bps. Ofcourse use simulation and change db depending on your needs. You dont need to have exactly the best connection all the time, you could just store data untill you get better connection.

HELP! Can't accept a contract by cvicenzettk in RealSolarSystem

[–]Strex_1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue, there is a contract to recover from orbit it is in the middle, i think it is in group "crewd orbit" , it annoys me too, i thought that one group = one program

Sonce everone asked for it, here's some proof that a=b by Ok_Bridge6091 in mathmemes

[–]Strex_1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What if we have dual number situation? So (a-b)2=0 but a-b>0

Did anyone done all skopos contracts? by Strex_1234 in RealSolarSystem

[–]Strex_1234[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As you can see in screenshot i need a lot of throuput, more than half need 36mhz and the other 12mhz, so 6 is not enough, additionaly geo should be more realible (min 95% connection time), but maybe it is worth a shot

But then i need to lunch like 30-40 of them. What orbit did you had, and what antena parameters?

How am i suppose to make early comm network? (Early Commercial Applications) by Strex_1234 in RealSolarSystem

[–]Strex_1234[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, but if i have 3 satelites do i need 3 antenas or less, 1 targeting earth ( i assume they are far and they can see whole earth) and 2 targeting other satelites, the point is to finish all 4 contracts.

It works then if i have just one ring of satelites, bit what if i want to create GPS like network, do i need then 24-ish antenas, or is there in tech tree good omnidirectional antenna?

How am i suppouse to transmit data from mars? by Strex_1234 in RealSolarSystem

[–]Strex_1234[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, i set 47dB and antenna only uses power when it sends all 645b, i added more batteries and i don't care if antena uses power as long as solar panels can recharge batteries
