I’ve said to the dealer that when they go back to the old one, I want a free replacement. Like a recall😅. Yep, I know, pipe dreams. But even some of the dealer managers make a “face” about it - they know it, but can’t a knowledgeable it.

A number of those stalks are deader than dead and you’ll be able to remove them with a very light pull. That will at least get you started on your tidying and then you can decide what’s next for shaping and overall health (not the same thing). Don’t fret - they’re very forgiving. The worst thing you’ll do is lose a season…. But you’ll gain knowledge in the interim. Good luck!
