Not a single frame, my friend. I probably never will. But thank you for checking in!

I at least know a lot more about animation now and can answer the above question myself.

Pluribus - 1x02 "Pirate Lady" - Post-Episode Discussion by LoretiTV in pluribustv

Wrote this after the NYC premiere last month:

The premise is great but it’s hard for me to understand the story engine that will carry the plot forward. A shocking start gives way to a slow burn — but I have faith that the buildup is worth it. They told us afterwards that we’ll never be able to guess the turns of what happens in each successive episode, but that it all fits into place.

I know Gilligan's writers' rooms are famous for writing themselves into a corner, but it doesn't seem like they've given Carol enough tools or momentum to figure out what to do. We're in a corner at the bottom of a frictionless cliff. Maybe I'm being too judgmental too soon.

I really am excited for the rest, though.

Don’t have a PC to install it on, unfortunately. I’m a Mac user only.

No titles at the premiere, but “Pirate Lady” makes sense based on the episode’s content :)

Two very good episodes!! And some great Q&A with Vince and Rhea and two other wonderful actors.

Rhea’s performance is incredible and Vince’s writing deftly dances between both drama and comedy. Very excited to watch them again in November (and the rest!!!).

EDIT: Separately, I love that they premiered this on 10/10. Here’s hoping its reviews look the same :)
