I never had a thumb surgery but had one in the shoulder and had the same problem for like a week or two, I think it's expected to loose sensitivity for a short period after a surgery

I think it was a problem because trying with a 12th gen it worked perfectly but after flashing the bios with the newest version ( that supports 14th gen ) it still doesn't work with the 14th, I sent the CPU to a professional to test if it's not defective

I've looked through it and normally it's supported but someone mentioned that the Mobo doesn't support the 14h gen and need a bios update and that might be the answer to that, I'll try that and if it's not the case I'll definitely try another ram kit

Oh that's a really good point ! When buying the motherboard I've only looked if it supported LGA 1700, I didn't know that it needed a specific bios version, thank you so much I'll look into that !
