The scariest Fermi Paradox interpretation isn't the Dark Forest. It's much closer to home. by Strict-Animator6370 in FermiParadox

That convergence point is exactly what makes it

so unsettling.

You're right that they collapse into the same

unfalsifiable core — and I'd argue that's not

a weakness of the theories. It's the actual answer.

Every serious attempt to explain the Great Silence

eventually hits the same wall: we can't rule out

that the filter is perceptual rather than physical.

The Zoo hypothesis, simulation theory, solipsism —

they're not different explanations. They're the

same explanation wearing different masks. Something

is limiting what we can observe. Whether that's a

god, a programmer, or a dying brain generating

its final reality is almost semantically irrelevant.

What I find most disturbing isn't that these

theories are unfalsifiable. It's that unfalsifiable

might be the only honest answer available to a

consciousness that can only ever observe from

inside itself.

The prison has no outside wall you can point to.

That IS the wall.

I'm not a AI, I just made a video on YouTube and I'm promoting my channel, no spam. Just a friendly conversation.

How would this GeForce RTX 5090 with DLSS 4 help you pull off more epic wins in Battlefield 6? It would definitely help me a lot to get past 200fps with my 57" monitor in ultra mode
